The position functions as the Chief Financial Officer and Administrative Officer for the department responsible for the oversight and administration of all Department-wide activities relating to accounting, budget/appropriations, purchasing/contracts, federal cooperative agreements, and support to the National Guard during state declared emergencies. Reviews hiring requests and verifies FTE funding availability. Liaison for internal and external audit functions. Manages a variety of administrative functions for the department to include but not limited to travel, vehicles, IT, credit cards, equipment inventory, facility leases, printing and telecommunications.

Education Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.

Experience Two years of experience as a professional manager or program/staff specialist, or equivalent experience.Education level typically acquired through completion of high school and three years of safety and regulatory or law enforcement experience at the 14 level; or, two years of safety and regulatory or law enforcement supervisory experience at the 15 level, may be substituted for the education and experience requirements.View job specification at:
