Centre Technologies is looking for a Solutions Architect to develop and implement IT infrastructure solutions that will meet the business needs of our customers. The Solutions Architect’s responsibilities include gathering requirements and solution specifications, assessing the current systems in place to identify areas in need of improvement, and overseeing implementation teams. Working as a Solutions Architect includes working with the sales team to understand the customers’ needs, creating designs to solve those needs, supporting implementation teams for new and existing clients projects, migration and configuration of new hardware and software. An architect should be able to incorporate any updated requirements and needs into the design. Have the ability to explain complex problems to management in layman’s terms with a consultative approach. The successful architect will have experience in roles such as a pre-sales engineer, Sr. System Administrator or IT manager supporting 250 – 300 users, or a consultant in delivery at a company where they did both delivery and pre-sales. Centre will need someone with a consultative, and outgoing personality. Who wants to help customers’ businesses run better. Who can lean on prior experience and provide recommendations to clients, with the personality to gain the customer’s trust. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Being an integral part of a team to identify and qualify business opportunities and develop the strategy to resolve technical matters.

(Immediate team will consist of a partnership with Sales and IT Consulting) Build deep, consultative technical relationships with your customers, effectively becoming a trusted adviser. Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it. Assessing the business impact that certain technical choices have. Providing updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, and budgets. Recommending integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution using best practices. Articulating the Enterprise vision on technologies and solutions towards the Client; positions Enterprise as thought leader on key technological developments. Leading prioritization of Customer solution / technical requirements and champions resolution of solution / product gaps internally (also towards Product Groups). Developing individual skill set and expand product knowledge to maximize value and to deliver quality services to our clients. Traveling to Client sites, conferences, and other related events as required. Other duties as assigned are as follows but not limited to guiding and assisting the Project Services teams on maintenance and upgrade of infrastructure including servers, storage, routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, and network management systems in accordance with Centre Technologies methodologies as determined by infrastructure architects, support or other dependencies. Education/Experience/Certifications

7+ years proven experience in pre-sales engineering, advanced system administrator or IT infrastructure design. Experience with public and private cloud solutions In-depth experience with Microsoft Office 365 Experience with most datacenter technologies including virtualization, compute, networking, and storage Certifications Types

Microsoft Expert level in server, cloud, M365, etc Cisco networking, or similar VMware

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field Work Environment and Physical Demands

Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. This position requires occasional after-hours work for overnight patches, upgrades, implementations, etc. Occasional lifting (lift and/or move up to 50 pounds) may be required. Occasional local travel required.
