Tech Senior Business Analyst - Software Asset Management

The Software Asset Management Tech Sr Business Analyst will focus on strengthening our software entitlements, process, policy, audit readiness, audit defense, and software licensing. This is a great opportunity to join a great team in a well-established company.

Responsibilities :

Perform software license compliance, software asset management, and other reviews to ensure compliance with associated licenses, agreements, contractual terms, and general licensing policies.

Scrutinize audit findings for accuracy and help create an audit defense and negotiation strategy.

Perform risk assessments and analysis of complex licensing agreements.

Ability to design and articulate solutions across multiple departments and systems.

Help utilize and interpret SAM tools (Flexera, ServiceNow ) to better track and manage licenses.

Develop and leverage detailed and comprehensive data analysis skills in Excel.

Lead and contribute to projects and initiatives with impact.

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and electronically across all levels.

Mentor and provide work direction to other associates in team or group.

Requirements:

4 - 6 years of experience working in Software Asset Management.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Experience creating Effective License Positions (ELPs).

Results-oriented, accountable, adaptable, and success-driven.

Strong knowledge of data analysis and Excel.

Passionate about technology including learning about new technologies and concepts.

Eagerness to solve complex business problem and a willingness to challenge the status quo.

SAM tool experience a plus.

Software audit experience a plus.

Strong publisher specific knowledge in Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, Micro Focus a plus.

The expected starting pay range for this position is $105,000 - $125,000 annually. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
