About This Opportunity Responsibilities: JOB SUMMARY: The Manager, Demand Planning will be responsible for the Private Brand and Vault assortment carried in the wholesale channel. This role will forecast demand for all new items and promotions as well as provide forward looking forecasts for existing items. Annual forecasts will be done for critical items in partnership with Category Managers and Product Directors.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: ? Deliver Instock Reliability for Key Private Brand and Vault items. ? Lead team to provide immediate support to ensure consistent, reliable inventory levels. ? Lead team to leverage planning and forecasting tools to develop item / subgroup level forecasts in collaboration with Category Managers, Product Directors, Operations, and suppliers. ? Partner with suppliers to plan and secure inventory. ? Partner with wholesaler to manage ordering and allocation and mitigate write off risk. ? Lead team to monitor and reduce overstock inventory at wholesaler, working with CMs and suppliers to plan and execute out-strategies. ? Develop contingency plans for inventory levels if demand exceeds forecast, out strategy if demand is lower than planned. ? Influence Category Managers to plan go-forward items and programs to ensure appropriate out strategy and contingency plans.
