The Chief Engineer will play a pivotal leadership role, steering the technological direction and ensuring the alignment of technology initiatives with the overarching training and education objectives for a branch of the Department of Defense training facility. This key executive is responsible for spearheading the development of education, training, and simulation technologies, maintaining compliance with government and military regulations, and fostering innovation in cybersecurity, systems engineering, and information technology solutions to bolster technology and information systems to modernize educational and administrative capabilities. The role demands an individual who is both a visionary and possesses a profound background in the science of education and the latest education, training, and simulation technologies, alongside a security clearance and adeptness in navigating complex government contracts and regulatory landscapes.

Certifications in defense, security, or technology management and Defense Acquisition is highly desirable.
