VP - Marketing & Sales

Haley Residential is seeking a talented Vice President of Marketing and Sales to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska, and work with our 60+ sites in 20 states in both a strategic and hands-on role. This newly created position will be responsible for leading and integrating the marketing and sales functions.

As the leader, this role will be focused on strategy development and hands-on tactical execution, coaching, and mentoring a small team, and the rollout of marketing campaigns. This position will oversee and own the entire funnel, including developing strategies to enhance brand awareness, lead generation, driving sales growth, and maximizing revenue through effective digital and traditional marketing campaigns and sales tactics.

Responsibilities include:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive strategies that unify digital marketing and sales efforts, aligning with the company’s overall business goals.
Marketing and Sales Integration: Ensure that both marketing and sales teams collaborate closely, sharing insights and strategies to drive revenue growth and improve customer engagement.
Campaign Management: Oversee the design and implementation of marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels, ensuring they are aligned with sales objectives. Develop and implement marketing and sales plans for underperforming assets.
Team Management: Lead and mentor the marketing and sales team. Establish performance metrics, conduct evaluations, and provide training to enhance skills and achieve business targets.
Budget Oversight: Manage budgets for marketing and sales departments, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum effectiveness and profitability.
Analytics and Reporting: Utilize analytics tools to monitor, analyze, and report on marketing and sales performance. Make data-driven decisions to refine strategies and improve ROI.
Customer Relationships: Develop strategies to enhance customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction. Oversee customer relationship management practices.
Social media: Oversee and grow the company’s presence on social media platforms.
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and new opportunities. Use insights to guide marketing and sales strategies.
Technology and Tools Implementation: Stay abreast of new technologies and tools that can enhance marketing effectiveness and sales productivity. Implement appropriate solutions to keep the company competitive.
Stakeholder Communication: Report directly to the President and collaborate with other executives in Omaha, NE to align marketing and sales strategies with company-wide initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
Proven experience in leading marketing and sales teams, preferably in a senior management role. Strong understanding of digital marketing, direct sales strategies, and market development. Prefer experience with digital transformation projects within marketing/sales.
Proven experience and understanding of digital marketing and advertising platforms, which may include Google Ads, organic and paid social media, Google Analytics, and other key tools.
Experience working with integrated technology platforms in the sales and marketing funnel that include CRMs, digital marketing tools, and websites.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Strong analytical abilities and familiarity with data analysis, performance metrics, and financial planning.
Located in Omaha, NE, the ability for some limited travel up to 25%.
Advanced certifications in marketing or sales management a plus.
Knowledge of apartment leasing operations and industry-related marketing concepts preferred.
