Job Description

SIGN ON BONUS ELIGIBLE - $5,000

Accountabilities/Duties: Works independently, providing psychosocial and mental health assessments, treatment planning and referral to patients and families at Hudson Hospital and the other hospitals, using a full range of mental health treatment modalities. Assists emergency room team, in person or via telehealth, in a consultant role to provide expert clinical care to patients and families presenting to the ED in mental health or substance abuse crisis. Provides crisis intervention, risk assessment, mental health evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, counseling and psychotherapy as appropriate. Provides recommendation in writing to the ED for next level of care and coordinates bed placement or crisis plan/referrals as needed ensuring that appropriate decision makers are informed of and involved in treatment planning. Participates as an integral member of an interdisciplinary health care team and provides education to other health care professionals in the psychosocial aspects of patient care. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications:

Eligibility to be Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Minnesota (LICSW) and Wisconsin (LCSW) OR Eligibilityto be Licensed Professional Counselor in both Minnesota and Wisconsin or licensed eligible. Master's in Social Work or related field Preferred Qualifications:

Three years of supervised clinical behavioral health experience Previous experience in Emergency Service BH Assessment & Referral setting Benefits:
