We are looking for a <strong>District RV Resort Manager</strong> who has just the right balance of management and sales skills and a real knack for great customer service. You will oversee and direct the day-to-day property management operations for two of our RV resorts home. This is a very guest-services oriented role, as much of our occupancy is short-term resort traffic. You will also have some sales and marketing duties to maximize residential occupancy. If you like the idea of helping to build and maintain a first-class RV resort community and you have the qualifications and background we're looking for, we want to talk with you!<br> <br> <strong>OVERVIEW</strong> <br> <br>As a District RV Resort Manager, you will have responsibility for the operational aspects and the continued profitability of two or more resorts and will serve as the day-to-day point of contact for visitors and residents. You will be on-call 24 hours a day and will be in charge of everything from administrative activities, marketing, property maintenance and human resource management to all leasing and home sales and - most importantly - guest and resident relations. Ensuring a positive atmosphere and responsive service for the members of your resort community will not only mean satisfied guests and long-term residents, but also better word-of-mouth referrals!<br> <br> <strong>JOB DUTIES</strong> <br> <li>Responds to guest and resident inquiries</li> <li>Serves as the direct point of contact for Sun's customers/residents</li> <li>Works with the marketing team to increase reservations and occupancy and further promote the Sun RV Resorts brand</li> <li>Ensures customers/residents receive a high level of service consistent with Sun's Customer Service philosophy</li> <li>Handles and resolves guest and resident complaints</li> <li>Coordinates team member selection, training, and development for resort staff and ensures all team members comply with appropriate policies and operational procedures</li> <li>Works with Regional Vice President (RVP) to quickly and effectively address issues which would adversely affect the operation of the resort or guest satisfaction</li> <li>Enforces resort rules and standards</li> <li>Monitors monthly operating budgets and preparing monthly explanation of P&L variances</li> <li>Assists RVP with preparation of annual operating budget</li> <li>Ensures compliance with federal state and local agencies that regulate fair housing laws and resort operations</li> <li>Markets park models, pre-owned and brokered homes for sale in the resort as well as prepares documents to list and sell homes</li> <li>Oversees capital expenditure improvements</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> <br> <strong>REQUIREMENTS</strong> <br> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED</li> <li>Minimum of 3 years property management/resort experience including 2 years of supervisory experience</li> <li>Previous sales and leasing experience, preferred</li> <li>General knowledge of property maintenance</li> <li>Solid negotiation skills</li> <li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Working knowledge of basic accounting principles</li> <li>Thorough knowledge of federal, state and local laws pertaining to fair housing and employment law</li> <li>Basic computer proficiency, including email, the internet and Microsoft Office Suite; experience using Yardi and/or RMS, preferred</li> <li>Flexibility to respond to resort needs during non-business hours</li> <li>Ability to live on-site within the resort (housing provided), if applicable</li> </ul> <b> <b>REWARDING BENEFITS</b></b> <br>At Sun Outdoors, you will be part of an industry-leading organization where you will be challenged, inspired, rewarded and transformed.
