The Director Surgical Services is responsible for the overall management of the surgical department. This includes overseeing the daily operations of the department, managing the staff, and ensuring that the department meets all regulatory requirements. The Surgical Services Director also works closely with other departments in the hospital to ensure that patient care is coordinated and efficient.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the daily operations of the surgical department
• Managing the staff, including hiring, firing, and training employees
• Ensuring that the department meets all regulatory requirements
• Working with other departments in the hospital to ensure that patient care is coordinated and efficient
• Developing and implementing policies and procedures for the surgical department
• Evaluating the performance of the department and making recommendations for improvement
• Representing the surgical department to the hospital administration and other stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in nursing or a related field
• At least 10 years of experience in a surgical setting
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for surgical departments
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
