About the Role

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Radiologic Imaging (90%):

  • Screen patients before exams to ensure their safety and identify any potential contraindications.
  • Prepare patients for radiologic imaging procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
  • Perform routine and advanced radiologic imaging procedures on designated body parts, using minimal supervision and ensuring high-quality images.
  • Conduct mammography examinations to the highest standards, providing excellent patient care and support.
  • Adjust scan parameters as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques to minimize radiation exposure.
  • Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, patients, and colleagues, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Follow safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and equipment.
  • Accurately maintain patient records within our Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment , promoting good safety habits and minimizing risks.
  • Meet ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements , ensuring our department meets the highest standards.
  • Maintain equipment in good working order , cleaning and disinfecting after each use.
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance in all aspects of patient care.

Radiologic Department Support (5%):

  • Assist with maintaining imaging protocol manuals and software upgrades.
  • Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as needed.
  • Support the training of new associates , providing technical expertise and guidance.

Additional Responsibilities (5%):

  • Complete other tasks assigned by management, ensuring the smooth operation of our department.
