POSITION OVERVIEW
The Marketing Manager is responsible for driving marketing initiatives that increase our company's visibility and generate interest in our cloud-based products and services. This position collaborates closely with internal teams in the US and Latin America, channel partners, and marketing vendors to create and execute targeted marketing campaigns, develop high-quality marketing materials, and strengthen our brand presence in the market.

LOCATION: This is an on-site role requiring the employee to work from our office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and coordinate marketing activities, such as webinars, email campaigns, events, and social media efforts for the United States market.

Develop and implement marketing strategies and plans aligned with company objectives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and engineering to create targeted marketing campaigns.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with AWS partners and other relevant stakeholders to maximize co-marketing opportunities.

Coordinate marketing campaigns with sales activities.

Create and publish marketing materials following branding standards, website design, and public-facing content.

Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all marketing channels.

Produce case studies, videos, and public-facing use cases.

Manage and improve lead generation campaigns using predetermined metrics.

Oversee brand management and corporate identity.

Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.

Maintain effective internal communications to keep relevant company functions informed of marketing objectives.

Collaborate with partners to determine marketing funds for events.

Manage relationships with marketing vendors to ensure timely distribution of blogs, emails, and press releases.

Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings, etc.)

Assist in organizing promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns, attending to facilitate success.

Lead AWS User Group meetups in various geographical locations.

Write marketing literature (brochures, press releases, email campaigns, etc.) to augment the company's presence.

Keep up to date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new marketing opportunities.

Other duties as assigned or as become evident.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a marketing role, with a focus on AWS cloud solutions is a plus.

Must be a U.S. citizen due to specific legal and contractual obligations associated with our projects.

Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience in managing marketing campaigns and analyzing performance metrics.

Proficient in digital marketing tools, including web analytics, social media management, and email marketing platforms.

Must be organized, detail and process-oriented, and metric-driven.

Must understand technology concepts.

Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team environment and have a strong sense of urgency.

Ability and willingness to work from our office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

CERTIFICATIONS

AWS Cloud Practitioner certification or the ability to obtain the certification within the first 3 months of employment.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must have good PC skills and be proficient with MS Office

Must be able to build PowerPoint presentations and develop case studies.

Expertise with web technology and graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Designer, OutReach, WordPress, web traffic analytics, and ad words is a plus.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Travel may be required for organizing and attending promotional events, traditional or digital campaigns, and AWS User Group meetups across multiple geographical areas.
