Our mission has never been more important than it is today.</b> <br> <br>The Desktop Support Specialist will provide excellent end-user experience, which includes resolving potential or actual technical issues. The specialist is responsible for providing a variety of configuring, installing, and supporting end-user computing solutions (i.e. hardware, software, printers, computer carts, and phones.)<br> <br> <b>Duties/Responsibilities:</b> <br> <br> <ul> <li>Provide assistance to internal computer users</li> <li>Answer questions and resolve computer problems in person, via the telephone, or by email</li> <li>Image workstations and deliver and provide set up for users</li> <li>Install, upgrade and troubleshoot servers, PC's and software</li> <li>Provide excellent end user experience</li> <li>Resolve potential or actual technical issues</li> <li>Troubleshoot different software packages, hardware devices, and other peripherals &bull; Manage active directory</li> <li>Review, analyze and recommend new technologies, upgrades to existing technology and enhancements to service on an ongoing basis</li> <li>Assist in maintaining an inventory of hardware and software</li> <li>Provide expert and creative solutions to user problems on laptops and desktop systems, to ensure user satisfaction and productivity</li> <li>Diagnose and repair hardware problems. Adjust, repair, and replace malfunctioning equipment as directed, including cloning and rebuilding pc's</li> <li>Manage email system</li> <li>Manage user accounts in Agent Cube and inContact</li> <li>Perform other related duties as assigned</li></ul> <br> <b>Required Skills/Abilities: </b> <br> <br> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li> <li>Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to details</li> <li>2 years of help desktop experience</li> <li>Knowledge of Windows and MS Office</li> <li>Strong trouble shooting skills</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Ability to be collaborative and communicate clearly with all levels of employees</li> <li>Ability to work a flexible schedule</li> <li>Able to work independently</li></ul> <br> <b>Preferred Skills/Abilities: </b> <br> <br> <ul> <li>CompTIA Network+, or equivalent certification</li></ul> <br> <b>Physical Requirements: </b> <br> <br> <ul> <li>Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, typically in an office or cubicle environment (constant noise, fluorescent overhead lighting)</li></ul> <br> <b>Our centers are consistent with CDC guidelines and align with local government orders pertaining to all Company physical locations in relation to COVID-19.</b> <br> <br> <b>Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) is a fundamental principle at HealthPlanOne, where employment is based upon personal capabilities and qualifications.
