Responsibilities Ascension St. Vincent is looking for a Physician Assistant for our Ear, Nose & Throat department. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension St. Vincent to provide medical services to patients. Position Highlights: Well established legacy surgical ENT speciality practice spanning over 40 plus years covering patient care in multiple counties. Monday through Friday Daytime hours Responsibilities: Obtains patient history and performs assessment. Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic procedures. Provides and documents direct treatment and management of health conditions. Provides counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources. Performs preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care. Requirements Licensure/Certification/Registration: Required Credential(s): • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following: • Physician Assistant credentialed from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. • Physician Assistant credentialed from the Indiana Physician Assistant Committee obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Preferred Credential(s): • Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. • Orthopedic Physician Assistant. Education: • Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. • Master's degree preferred. Work Experience: • 1 year of experience preferred.
