<p><strong>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p> <ul><li><span style="font-size:11pt;">Performs a variety of clerical duties, which may include research, overdrafts, adjustments, reconciling, computerized operations, courier, preparing statements, and reports. </span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11pt;">Performs any combination of the following routine clerical duties depending on area assigned: files and/or alphabetizes items; cross indexes information; posts data to records; reconcile statements and accounts; monitor ACHs; handle overdraft services issues; address verifications; verifies statement balances; research; and investigate customer account issues.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11pt;">May operate merchant deposit equipment, postage machines, inserting machines, branch capture machines, and general office equipment.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11pt;">May perform or be cross-trained to perform a variety of clerical duties relating to deposit services including, but not limited to, check processing, deposit verifications, general ledger balancing, prepare data files, charge-off accounts, reclamations, confirmations, and monitor daily reports for overdraft services’ situations.   </span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11pt;">Monitoring and updating Excel spreadsheets.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11pt;">Ensure all actions performed are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures.</span></li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE</strong></p> <ul><li><span style="font-size:11pt;">Position normally requires a high school diploma or GED plus such practical knowledge and skills as would be learned on the job and through training.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11pt;">Over one and up to two years of experience is typically required to demonstrate proficiency in assigned tasks.                                                            </span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11pt;">Excellent PC skills and keyboarding ability.                                                       </span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11pt;">Excellent oral and written communication skills.                                                </span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11pt;">Excellent organizational skills.                                                                          </span></li> <li><span style="font-size:11pt;">Ability to lift 15 pounds several times daily.</span></li> </ul> <ul><li><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Symbol;"> </span><span style="font-size:11pt;">Refers questionable matters to supervisor.</span></li> </ul> <p style="margin-left:9pt;text-indent:-9pt;"> </p> <p style="margin-left:9pt;text-indent:-9pt;"> </p> <p><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS</strong></p> <ul><li><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Symbol;"> </span><span style="font-size:11pt;">Works in a production oriented atmosphere.
