Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our team at Dental Care at Treaty Oaks. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dental hygiene services to our patients, while working collaboratively with our doctors and other team members to ensure seamless care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality dental hygiene services to patients, including routine cleanings, exams, and patient education.
  • Work collaboratively with our doctors and other team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in dental hygiene.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and respect for colleagues and patients.
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening and medical history documentation.
  • CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
