In addition to showing courtesy, compassion, and respect to all individuals, you will also exhibit excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers. You will assure all lab work, EKG, and x-rays are obtained, and initiate the PAT Protocol Our nursing staff is expected to present themselves in a professional manner As a PAT RN, organizing/prioritizing pre-operative teaching for a routine day in the preadmissions area is a key responsibility You must function in an organized and time conscious manner You will initiate/document preoperative and discharge planning and patient teaching involving patient/significant other Will include a mix of days in PAT and Endoscopy
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred) Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license Current BLS and ACLS certification
