*Duties include but not limited to: *

· Manage and oversee the daily operations of the river team, including terminal operations, high level of internal customer service, and financial budgeting.

· Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity while maximizing terminal efficiencies and controlling expenses.

· Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental regulations, and EH&S programs established by the company, state, and federal agencies.

· Coordinate with suppliers, and transportation teams to ensure timely processing of receipts, invoicing, shipments, and freight.

· Supervise the recruiting, hiring, and training of full-time and seasonal employees.

· Monitor and report accurately on physical inventory levels. Ensure timely and efficient product loading/unloading (rail, barge, and truck).

· Supervise the manufacturing of proprietary products to meet state and customer specifications.

· Support sales, marketing, and supply teams to increase overall company market share.

· Prepare annual budgets, review, and monitor spending limits, and plan capital expenditures to meet company standards.

· Maintain and promote a strong safety culture, conducting safety meetings, identifying, communicating, and correcting workplace hazards at RFDT and Boettcher Landing Terminal locations.

· General understanding of how fertilizer plant equipment functions (conveyors, legs, loaders, scales, baggers, forklifts, blenders, blend towers, trucks and rail equipment).

· Develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with local port tenants.

· You must be open to being mentored and gain expertise in following SOPs (standard operating procedures) and being accountable; all while maintaining humility and a ‘better every day’ attitude.



*Requirements/Skills: *

· College degree or relevant work experience

· Full time positions may include overtime hours during peak seasons

· Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills

· Mechanical aptitude

· Bulk materials handling experience

· Dependable with a team-oriented focus

· This is a Drug Free Workplace

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
