Shipping Manager

*Position Overview*
The Shipping Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the shipping process, including coordinating shipments, managing transportation logistics, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of shipping methods and previous experience in a shipping manager role.

*Location:* On-Site in Deerfield Beach, FL
*Hours: *8:30am-5:30pm

*Responsibilities*
* Develop and implement shipping strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
* Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely processing and fulfillment of orders.
* Manage relationships with shipping carriers and negotiate favorable terms and rates.
* Monitor shipment schedules and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
* Oversee the preparation of shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs forms, and shipping labels.
* Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and requirements, including customs regulations and hazardous materials handling.
* Resolve any shipping issues or discrepancies that arise, such as damaged goods or delivery delays.
* Supervise shipping staff and provide training and guidance as needed.
* Maintain accurate records of shipping activities and prepare regular reports for management.

*Qualifications/Requirements*
* Proven experience in a shipping manager role, with a demonstrated understanding of shipping methods and logistics.
* Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with shipping partners.
* Proficiency in shipping software and systems, such as ERP systems, warehouse management systems, and transportation management systems.
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
* Detail-oriented and highly analytical, with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.
* Ability to pass a Background Check and Drug Test
* High School Diploma/GED
