We have expanded, with a *new, state-of-the-art lab* opened in January of 2024! We are adding a *Hematology Lab Manager (Laboratory Supervisor) *to our award-winning team! This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Technologist looking to grow into a supervising role.

*Position Summary*:
* Establishes policies, procedures, and protocols for testing performed in the Hematology laboratory section. Defines analytic accuracy, precision, sensitivity, and reference ranges for test methods. Oversees quality control testing an d instrument maintenance.
* Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels. Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Assesses quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs.
* Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints. Serves as a consultant to laboratory staff as well as other members of the healthcare team as needed.

*Education Requirements*:
* Bachelor’s degree and certificate from a school of medical technology, or any other culmination meeting supervisory qualifications of the NYS Department of Health.
* Licensed by New York State Department of Education to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CLT).

*Experience Requirements*:
* Minimum of five years hematology laboratory experience required.
* Familiar with technology related to practice in assigned section.

*Compensation:*
* $78,624 - $97,864 annualized salary
* Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location
