Role Descriptions:

  • Evaluating levels of speech and language difficulty in pediatric patients, adeptly handling problematic behaviors.
  • Identifying treatment options and executing individualized treatment plans that address specific functional needs.
  • Providing counseling to parents on effective techniques for carry-over outside the treatment environment.
  • Offering guidance and support to individuals and families coping with communication disorders.
  • Supervising SLPAs in the school setting with 100% onsite supervision.
Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate levels of speech and language difficulty in pediatric patients, including managing problematic behaviors.
  • Identify treatment options and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific functional needs.
  • Provide counseling to parents on techniques for carry-over outside the treatment environment.
  • Offer guidance and support to individuals and families coping with communication disorders.
  • Supervise SLPAs in the school setting with 100% onsite supervision.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • State licensure is mandatory.
  • ASHA certification and experience are preferred, but enthusiastic CF candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Reliable transportation.
Commitment/Availability:
  • PRN employees will be requested to work in advance due to scheduled vacation time; however, for unscheduled illness/time off, PRN employees may be called the morning of to be asked to work that day.
  • The PRN employee MUST work one shift (no minimum hours) every calendar month.
