The deliveries would be at Montefiore Nyack Hospital, Nyack NY. The position offers a Monday - Friday schedule with on an call rotation among the providers. The FJ Borelli Family Emergency Center at Montefiore Nyack Hospital offers safe, high-quality emergency care. As a designated Level III Trauma Center, it has proven its ability to provide prompt assessment, resuscitation, surgery, intensive care and stabilization of injured patients. The Center offers a dedicated Pediatric Emergency Unit, an Express Care area for non-life-threatening emergency cases and X-ray rooms outfitted with a CT scanner to expedite patient care.
The hospital's Cardiac Catheterization Lab is led by a team of cardiovascular experts who diagnose and treat heart conditions, such as coronary artery disease, heart valve disease and congestive heart failure, using minimally invasive procedures. Available treatments include pacemaker implantation, stent insertion, removal of blood clots in the lungs and the treatment of heart blockages. Experience: Obstetrics/Gynecology. Board-certified or eligible. A candidate finishing their fellowship is welcome to apply.
Licensure: Licensed and currently registered physician in the State of New York.
Other: Qualified for membership on the Medical Staff. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Work effectively as a member of a culturally competent multidisciplinary team, have a thorough understanding of member rights, and knowledge of basic medical practice.
