Responsibilities:
- Oversee all pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes and medication safety
- Conduct patient assessments and make recommendations for appropriate medication therapy
- Manage medical management and utilization review processes
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Stay updated on the latest developments in pharmacy practice and incorporate evidence-based medicine into daily practice
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices, including hospital pharmacy operations
- Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate pharmaceutical care
- Proficiency in medical management and utilization management processes
- Experience in critical care pharmacy, with a solid understanding of complex medication regimens
- Familiarity with utilization review processes to ensure appropriate use of medications
