Workplace Safety Associate Attorney

A law firm in Sacramento, California, is seeking a Workplace Safety Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will assist senior associates and shareholders in litigation matters, with a focus on workplace safety. They will be responsible for investigating case facts, drafting/responding to discovery requests, preparing witnesses, and engaging in extensive client and opposing counsel communication. Job Duties: Assist senior associates and shareholders in litigation matters, particularly those related to workplace safety. Investigate underlying facts of cases involving workplace safety issues. Draft and respond to discovery requests pertaining to workplace safety litigation. Prepare discovery motions related to workplace safety cases. Prepare witnesses for litigation proceedings. Maintain extensive communication with client representatives and opposing counsel. Requirements: Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Must be and remain licensed to practice law in California, in good standing. 1+ years of litigation experience, preferably with exposure to workplace safety cases. Outstanding academic credentials, with preference given to candidates in the top 20% of their law school class. Excellent analytical and writing skills.
