Our Team Located at 77 Guest Street in Brighton, MA at Boston Landing will be led by world-class specialists and will offer comprehensive care for sports-related injuries and orthopedic conditions, based on innovative research and utilizing cutting-edge technology. Services will include same-day care at the Orthopedics Walk-in, a Sports Medicine medical clinic, sports physical therapy, and the National Running Center for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of running injuries. We are proud to team with New Balance to bring out comprehensive care approach to such a burgeoning location and to meet where its convent for the to receive our services The Opportunity We are seeking a per diem Medical Assistant to support the practice on-site picking up shifts primarily on weekends as needed for coverage. The shift times will primarily be 8:00am- 1:00pm. Our Medical Assistants partner alongside physicians, advanced practice providers, and nurses primarily working with 1 to 2 providers as our support model. Our providers love to build lasting relationships, teach and mentor based on your future goals as a medical assistant or whatever path you choose in the medical field Responsibilities include: - Functioning as a "flow manager"/ensuring efficient patient flow through the office - Assisting with direct patient care during the office visit (examination, procedures, and treatments as advised) - Performing clinically appropriate administrative tasks (chart prep, phone triage, in-basket messages, test results, prescription refill, coordination of care, etc.) We have a team to handle true phone triage - Maintaining neat, clean, and safe patient care areas - Providing an exceptional care experience by interacting with patients and their families in a professional, friendly manner consistent with their needs.
