Job Summary

The Director of Sales and Operations will be responsible for planning and directing all aspects of the sales and operations functions of PFS. Director will be expected to dramatically increase revenue, expand profitability, and improve performance ratios (ex. ROI, ROA) by rebuilding, reorganizing, and implementing best business practices. The ideal candidate will rely upon their extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; work cross functionally, inspire, lead, and direct the work of others, and confidently deliver measurable results in an entrepreneurial environment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Review, generate, and evaluate potential strategies & business plans to maximize the value of PFS. Create market analyses related to areas of potential commercial opportunities. Develop brand, trademarks and/or IP, as necessary. Create budgets and financial models; optimize operating costs and capital expenditures. Lead sales and commercialization of product lines Lead the R&D initiatives by creating, prioritizing, and funding new business plans for future growth. Establish, improve, and ensure proper and up-to-date operating tools, including policies, guidelines, systems, and PP&E. Set standards for performance in productivity, efficiency, profitability, and conduct. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and all Company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

BA/BS in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Chemistry, or related field. MBA is a plus. English language fluency is mandatory. Other languages are desirable. Experience of 5+ years in Sales, Operations, Marketing, or similar. Demonstrated experience in building effective, results-oriented teams. An ambitious self-starter, strong team player, inspiring and collaborative, gritty and resilient, demonstrating a fact-based structured approach with high sense of urgency. Innovation, Ventures, and Development Strategies. Understanding of the principles and application of Innovation & Development strategies and approaches (Gating, Design Thinking, Seed Launch Grow). Ability to communicate business performance and status effectively and regularly to senior management. Ability to travel 30%.
