****Business Information Security Officer****

As a key provider of infrastructure services to the industry, information security is of utmost importance to SIX. In the Securities Services business unit which entails the post-trading functions, the Business Information Security Officer is a crucial role and ensures information security is properly addressed and managed.
The role is multifaceted acting as mediator and facilitator to support the implementation of contractual, regulatory and legal security requirements (e.g. EU-GDPR, PCI-DSS) as well as anticipating relevant trends and developments within the industry.
**What You Will Do:**
* be the trusted information security advisor for your business unit
* act as link between your business unit and corporate security including the participation in various boards to make sure the voice of your business unit is heard
* drive and implement the information security strategy and enable projects to implement information security according to best-practices and standards of SIX
* evaluate exceptions based on the risk appetite of your business unit
* additionally, you help to define, measure and report information security KRI/KPIs for your business unit
**What You Bring:**
* advanced training or certification as well as proven experience in information security & risk management
* sound understanding of the information security requirements of the financial services sector
* ability to translate technical/security issues to business executives
* strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
* very good English language skills, additional German and/or Spanish language would be an advantage
