The Electrical Engineer works on project scoping, analysis, and design with a team of engineers, designers, and drafters to complete electrical and / or instrumentation packages for medium and low voltage systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Interpret and revise drawings including one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and conduit routing drawings. In addition to writing construction scopes of work, equipment purchases specifications and data sheets.
• Functions as part of a project team, collaborating with multiple parties including clients, vendors, manufacturers, project controls, and partner design firms.
• Familiarity with all aspects of electrical analysis including fault current, load flow, protective device coordination, motor starting, and arc flash.
Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year College or University.
