Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Maintenance Managerto join our team.The primary function of this position is to support and maintain the electrical and mechanical equipment in a safe and efficient manner as described in various procedures, polices, processes and regulatory requirements. Utilizing mechanical and electrical knowledge, the Leader works in a team environment where individuals are empowered to set priorities and complete activities with minimal supervision.

The secondary function of this position is the maintenance planner. Candidates must independently prioritize and plan maintenance work which optimizes technician effectiveness. Lead analysis of maintenance history (including root cause analysis) and utilize multiple technical data sources to improve maintenance processes and minimize total cost of ownership. Plan pro-active maintenance for technicians through the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and working with maintenance leaders to develop and oversee processes to ensure operational effectiveness and compliance.

The third responsibility of this position will be to perform the duties as parts coordinator. Candidates will coordinate inventory processes to ensure accuracy to tactically support BCB maintenance and production operations. Also, the position will assist in the rebuilding of mechanical components and other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Reliability Manager.

Primary Responsibilities: Follow safe work permit processes, policies, and procedures. Provide technical expertise in consultation with engineering and reliability resources. Optimize work activities related to planned and unplanned equipment outages. Assist in the training and development of new employees. Assess and resolve priority based mechanical and electrical issues as they arise. Communicate directly with OEM vendors and suppliers. Prioritizes, plan, and support maintenance work in collaboration with affected departments; Identify job resources (staff, tools, parts, references, etc.), assemble job plans (instructions, schematics, parts lists, manuals, etc.), coordinate with stakeholders, and support execution. Participate with maintenance personnel, engineers, production personnel, and network representatives to document and improve maintenance tasks and processes. Manages maintenance technical documentation for plant equipment and systems. Responsible for developing spare parts lists, kitting, and rebuild strategies. Review minimum/maximum levels and generate purchase requisitions, as necessary. Receive purchased inventory into the system and update label locations and parts. Assist in rebuilding machine assemblies and spares. Support CMMS administrative processes as assigned. Comfortably, effectively, and supportively coaches and trains technically skilled professionals. Support engineering projects. Follows all policies, procedures, ergonomic standards, and safety requirements directed by BCB and the department. Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed. Performs other duties as requested by management. Demonstrates commitment to and follows all company policies, standards and procedures, regarding employment and workplace behavior, food safety (GMPs), ergonomic standards and safety requirements from OSHA, BCB and the location as well all local, state and federal regulations/laws which includes the ability to ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations regarding lockout/tag out, hot work, fall protection, arc flash, confined space, etc. As applicable, assist maintenance technicians in emergencies. Ability to uphold Safety standards, participate in Continuous Process Improvement on the job, and follow our Manufacturing best practices.

Qualifications

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Associate degree in relevant field highly preferred. Motivated, initiative-taker capable of effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities. Relevant computer and technical skills At least 8 years of experience as a maintenance technician in a high-volume, fast-paced, capital-intensive manufacturing environment. Experience in industrial operations, maintenance or utilities operations is preferred. With a demonstrated knowledge in Industrial Electrical wiring, motor control, PLC. Equipment repair, Industrial Equipment installation, start-up, repair, etc. Experience or knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC), and Networking devices a plus. Allen Bradley experiences a plus. Managing/overseeing parts inventory and a Preventative Maintenance Planning Program Ability to communicate technical information accurately and clearly. Ability to follow BCB policies and procedures. Ability to be trained in the operation of mobile equipment (forklift, manlift, etc.) Must have the ability to understand, analyze and resolve technical problems. Must have a current and valid driver's license. Climb stairs and ladders. Work in tight and closed spaces. Be able to wear all required personal protective equipment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS: Ability to lift 75 pounds frequently with mechanical assistance. Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and 100 pounds occasionally. Ability to constantly lift, bend, stretch and stand during entire shift. Ability to push/pull up to 1,500 pounds using supplied equipment. Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, and stoop, twist, and reach overhead with repetitive motions.
