Responsibilities
Incorporates knowledge of the nursing process and the professional standards of nursing in daily practice.
Applies knowledge of IV medications, blood products to provide safe care.
Provides consistent care based on the changing physical and psychosocial needs, unique to the patient.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Completion of a diploma nursing program or
Associated of Applied Science in Nursing (ASN)
Required Licensure and Certifications
Active RN license in the state of Tennessee and Georgia
Basic Life Support (BLS) required prior to start date.
Chemotherapy certified through the ONS or obtain Chemotherapy certification within 18 months
*Chemotherapy cert verified in department*
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training
Completion of an accredited school of nursing program or diploma program as well at the ability to complete annual nursing skills and competency course. Proficient in starting peripheral IVs.
