JOB SUMMARY:

AXIS Automation is looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to work directly with the Director of Customer Service. The right individual will have strong multi-tasking skills, handling a wide variety of tasks with precision and efficiency with strong focus on customer service.

The ideal candidate wants to help to their colleagues and AXIS’ customers. They will be creative when asked to find solutions, and work diligently to deliver the best possible customer experience – both internally and externally.

Working in the sales and marketing department means that all team members must be flexible and adapt to changing priorities as AXIS responds to our customers. The right individual will have strong organizational and time management skills, communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, be proficient with Microsoft Office products, and work collaboratively with the sales and marketing team as well as other departments.

ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Provide administrative support to Customer Service and Sales 
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding their account or product offerings
  • Maintain, track and analyze information from CRM and ERP databases
  • Coordinate customer and technician visits and travel
  • Collaborate with team members from other departments to optimize sales

ADDITIONAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and maintain departmental forms and other document templates as necessary
  • Organize and maintain electronic and paper file systems
  • Organize customer visits
  • Enter and monitor customer orders
  • Receive guests, answers telephone calls and tactfully handle inquiries
  • Schedule calendar meetings and appointments prioritizing and negotiating to accommodate changing priorities
  • Manage marketing and promotional supplies
  • Update records, forms, reports, databases and spreadsheets
  • Conduct company and industry-related research
  • Work within a team on special projects
  • Coordinate travel and expense reports
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • 2-5 years related work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, databases and Internet
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and deadlines are essential
  • Flexibility and desire to contribute when and where needed
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Capable of prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment

DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Fluency in Spanish preferred but not required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT:

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment
  • Ability to sit, stand and work at a computer for long periods of time
