| Posted on 09/08/2023 Our client, a global leader in quantitative trading, is seeking a talented FPGA Developer to join their team. As an FPGA Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing low-latency trading systems using FPGA technology.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement low-latency trading systems using FPGA technology, including hardware architecture design, RTL coding, and verification.

- Work closely with software engineers, traders, and researchers to develop trading strategies and optimize trading systems for maximum performance.

- Optimize and improve existing FPGA-based trading systems, including both hardware and software components.

- Conduct performance analysis and benchmarking of FPGA-based systems, using tools such as Logic Analyzer, Oscilloscope, and Signal Generator.

- Maintain documentation of design, implementation, and testing processes, including version control and issue tracking.

Requirements

- Commercial experience in programming FPGA chips using Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog

- Commercial experience in C++ development in a Linux environment

- Familiarity with common scripting languages such as TCL, Python and Bash - Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

- Strong understanding of hardware architecture design, RTL coding, and verification techniques

- Familiarity with FPGA development tools and platforms, such as Xilinx, Altera, or Intel

- Experience with high-speed transceivers, common networking protocols, and packet processing is preferred

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
