JOB TITLE: Cultivation Technician
AUTHORITY & SUPERVISION:
- Reports directly to the Cultivation Supervisors and Team Leads, with additional oversight by the Assistant Cultivation Manager and Cultivation Manager
WORK SCHEDULE:
- Monday-Friday (No Weekends)
- 7:00AM to 3:30PM
- Occasional early or delayed start times based off of Cultivation Production Schedule
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for maintaining the quality of all manufactured products
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Track all grow room sanitation in the appropriate logs
- Day-to-day plant maintenance including pruning and trellising
- Keep veg, flower, and dry rooms immaculate and fully operational.
- Sweep & mop floors
- Remove all leaves from trays
- Remove and log waste at the end of each day
- Track and record all grow room data as directed
- Transplant and harvest plants
- Clean and charge lifts
- Report leaks and faulty equipment
- Take part in overall facility cleanliness including room resets
- Other duties and special projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Great interpersonal/communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Have genuine and positive energy
- Great work ethic, reliability, and professionalism
- Excellent listening skills
- Cannabis knowledge preferred
- Plant / Horticulture experience is a plus
- Knowledge of Plumbing and Electrical a plus
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 21 years of age.
- Possess valid driver’s license or state ID.
- Must pass all required background checks.
- Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends.
- Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
- Frequently moves up to 30+ pounds of equipment/materials/product within rooms (100 pounds with assistance).
- This job function may include being in a stationary position, or moving for extended periods of time.
- Must be comfortable working in a variable environment including high temperatures and humidity.
- Comfortable working on lifts / heavy equipment and heights over 6 feet off the ground.
