JOB DESCRIPTION
Department: LDRPN Unit
Shift Timings: Night Shift 19:00 - 07:30 Hours

• Nights 19:00-07:30 36 hours /week
• Start date discussed in interview 13 week assignment
• Job Requirements: Active nursing license for Indiana, 2+ years of recent labor & Delivery experience
• Certs: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Fetal monitoring Every 3rd weekend, rotating holidays
• 10 bed LDRP Level Il nursery OB physician, Newborn hospitalists, anesthesia, CST in house 24/7 Circulate C sections

Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• The ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong technical skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Passionate about patient care
• Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
• Minimum three years of current Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Active unencumbered Indiana state license
• NRP Certification
• PALS Certification
• Fetal monitoring certification

Requirements:

• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
