**Certified Orthotist - Pittsburgh Area**

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Orthotist to join our team in the Pittsburgh area. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and custom fitting artificial limbs and orthopedic braces.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Location: On-site with travel to hospitals, clinics, etc.

Responsibilities:

- Assess patients, formulate treatment plans, implement those plans, and follow up with patients

- Collaborate with physicians to evaluate patient needs for prosthetic and orthotic services; recommend treatment options when necessary

- Select materials, take cast measurements, and make model modifications

- Perform fitting, including static and dynamic alignments

- Evaluate orthotic devices on patients, ensuring fit, function, and medical efficacy

- Instruct patients in the use of prosthetic and orthotic devices

- Address and resolve any issues to ensure patient satisfaction

- Provide follow-up care to patients and communicate with physicians as needed

- Conduct in-service training for physicians and healthcare professionals

- Manage materials effectively to maximize device quality and medical efficacy while balancing costs

- Meet with physicians and case managers to review services and build relationships for referrals

- Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets

Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics, or Bachelor's degree with apprenticeship

- Current board certification in Orthotics from the American Board for Certification (ABC) or the Board of Certification (BOC)

- State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania

- Proven experience in orthotic assessment, design, fitting, and patient care

- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals

Pay: Up to $74,000.00 per year
