Job Summary:Primarily responsible for applying the nursing process to the care of veteran patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.-This includes, but is not limited to, assuring that appropriate documentation reflects assessment of patient needs, interdisciplinary treatment plans, clinical intervention, and evaluation of patients' responses to responsible for assigning and evaluating the work of non-nursing direct care providers assigned to the operating room. Required Skills & Experience:-Minimum qualifications required for services:-Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.-Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.-Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.Preferred Skills & Experience:-N/A BLS - AHA NIHSS NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license 7:00AM-5:30PM On Call- Required: Minimum of 3 On Call shifts/per Month. Weekend on Call- Required (1-2 of the 3 On Call Shifts). No Holidays. 13 week Assignment. Surgical Operating Room. BLS-aha, ACLS-aha, NIHSS- Required. 2 Years Minimum Experience- Required. Circulating + Scrub Experience-Required. Experience with Epic and EMR-Highly Preferred. Epic Training will be given prior to start. Scrubs provided. Must be highly reliable and be available to work all days other than those that were pre-disclosed prior to offer. Must not have alternative jobs that would interfere with HMH schedule being a priority.
