Job Title: Machine Design EngineerJob Description We are seeking a degreed engineer with over 5 years of experience in production machine design. The ideal candidate will have expertise in using SolidWorks, Inventor, or other 3D modeling software to design parts, parametric weldments, and assemblies, as well as create exploded assembly drawings. The role requires application knowledge of pneumatic, vacuum, and hydraulic components, as well as familiarity with AC motors and DC servo motors. Responsibilities include drafting technical documentation to support sales, procurement, production, deployment, and maintenance of new products. Please note that we are looking specifically for experience in Machine Design, not System Design. Hard Skills Machine Design - experience designing automated equipment and machines SolidWorks Experience Designed Production Machinery - conveyors and other equipment Application knowledge of pneumatic, vacuum, and hydraulic components Knowledge of AC motors and DC servo motors 3D Modeling Software (SolidWorks, Inventor, etc.) Job Type This is a permanent position. Work Site This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Louisville, Kentucky and some days remote. Work Environment New office/shop. Built less than 2 years ago.
