Responsible for the smooth and efficient drop and count of all areas of the casino.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Unlock and open drop boxes and bill validators, removing contents and rotating boxes to expose inside to camera and to co-workers.
  • Re-lock boxes and bill validators and return to mobile cage.
  • Segregate contents of boxes (opening/closing slips, coins, chips, and currency). Counting contents and documenting contents.
  • Cash turn-in envelopes are sorted, opened, counted, and recorded separately by employee.
  • Operate currency-counting machine to count bill validator drop currency.
  • Reconcile and verify totals and then have the totals reconciled and accepted by Cage employees.
  • Responsible for minor repairs and maintenance of Count room equipment.
  • Maintains general upkeep of Count room.
  • Notifies Supervisor of malfunctioning equipment.
  • Pick up and return keys for drop boxes.
  • Always follow the Company Service Standards model.
  • Must be able to work a variety of hours, holidays, and weekends as necessary.
  • Must be available for regularly scheduled work.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

In addition to the other duties described herein, each Team Member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations.

  • Attend required training sessions offered by the Company.
  • Obtain and retain required license(s).
  • Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
  • Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member’s department.
  • Have knowledge of the Property’s programs to address problem gaming.
  • Report any acts of wrongdoing of which the Team Member may have knowledge.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must have a high school diploma
  • Requires repetitive motions, manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, standing, bending, teamwork, basic math skills, use of 10-key calculator, coin-counter, and currency counter.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Virginia Racing Commission License

Valid Driver’s License with a minimum of three (3) years driving experience.
