As a Business Development Representative , you will grow International third-party Logistics services by securing new profitable and sustainable customers. You will generate revenue and drive new business by managing sales meetings, presenting recommendations for supply chain improvements, and closing sales. We are looking for aself-driven, results-orientated individual with a positive outlook and clear focus on high quality and business profitability.

What you'll be doing:

  • Prospecting, planning, and conducting face-to-face visits with new prospective customers
  • Partnering with customers to gather information on their needs and offer tailored solutions within the Ingram Logistics suite of services
  • Lead cross functional collaboration with International Ocean, Air, Compliance and Trucking teams to develop tailored solutions for customers
  • Ensuring alignment with corporate strategies in forecasting, business planning, and pipeline development
  • Tracking and reporting Pipeline health and maintenance utilizing CRM and or Pipeline reports
  • Foster Global expansion via the existing Ingram agent network and pursue new agent partners that align within Ingram's strategic global trade lane development initiatives
Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • A minimum of three years commercial experience with a global third-party logistics provider.
  • Daily local/regional travel required.
  • Minimal overnight travel required (Less than 15%)
  • Advanced knowledge of logistical concepts and supply chain terminology.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to persuade, motivate, and influence others.
  • Develop and maintain strong inter-company relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
