We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Automotive Controller to join our team. This position is responsible for the oversight of accounting, asset management and ensuring tax compliance, as well as financial/accounting decisions of the dealership. Minimum of 3 years accounting required. Previous automotive business office experience preferred.
*Responsibilities:*
* Oversight of the accounting office personnel
* Accurate store financials with regular reviews of operational income statements, GL activity, schedules and balance sheet accounts.
* Partner with the General Manager to manage the financial results of the dealership
* Responsible for adherence to dealership policies and internal control structure
* Bi-weekly and Monthly Payroll
* Proactively manage and safeguard company assets
* Actively manage expense structure
* Strong willingness to adhere to established policies and procedures
* Responsible for accurate store financials with regular reviews of operational income statements, GL activity, schedules and balance sheet accounts.
*Qualifications:*
Minimum of 3-years required; Dealership Controller experience preferred
* Excellent communication and organization skills
* Self-motivated, goal-oriented and enthusiastic presence in a team environment with the ability to lead and influence others
* Ability to be analytical, problem solve, and multi-task
* Experience building strong teams
* Consistent and stable work history
* Professional appearance and work ethic
