Job Description Job Description Snelling is currently recruiting for a Compliance/Collections Officer for an amazing company in the Homewood area! Responsible for providing quality customer support for Clients and Taxpayers through phones, email, and correspondence, daily processing of payments, working delinquent accounts, and providing follow-up for Clients and Supervisors. Starting Pay: $18.00-20.00.00/hr Hours: 8:00 am -5:00 pm, with some overtime if needed, possibly at the end of the month Duties and Responsibilities for Compliance/Collections Officer
  • Collecting on business accounts, understands the ability to maintain the relationship and customer.
  • Responsible for posting taxpayer's checks/filings
  • Calling taxpayers about delinquent accounts
  • Completing daily correspondence from taxpayer questions/problems/account issues
  • Invoicing
  • Sending out deliquency letters
Experience & Abilities Required for Compliance/Collections Officer
  • Minimum 1-2 years in an office environment with heavy inbound/outbound phone experience.
  • Minimum 1-2 years customer service experience with collection’s experience is preferred
  • MUST be proficient in Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to speak effectively with customers.
  • Has the drive to meet deadlines
