Some of the essential aspects of the position include:
- Performs essential color lab activities related to: custom color matching, production floor support, development and implementation of new colors, and color lab process optimization and documentation.
- Research new material and application techniques.
- Assist production with training, troubleshooting, and new and special color implementation.
- Produce custom colors using standard techniques.
What it takes:
- Associate's degree in chemistry, engineering, or other technical field.
- Strong, demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Willing and capable of learning current finishing process and/or new techniques and application equipment.
- Computer skills with intermediate to advanced excel experience.
- Prior technical documentation experience.
- Must pass color test.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, stop and bend for extended period of time.
- Ability to work around solvents.
