Job Title CNC Machinist Join Our Team Ludlum Measurement, Inc. is seeking a CNC Machinist to join our Sweetwater, TX.  The CNC Machinist is responsible for the production of precision machining and assembly equipment. This is a full-time position located in Sweetwater, TX.

Job Requirements
  • Must be proficient in the use of CNC machines.
  • MasterCAM and GCODE knowledge preferred.
  • Vocational / technical school training or apprenticeship preferred.
  • Minimum (5) five years of experience with CNC machined parts and/or manufacturing, or equivalent combination of education and training (either directly or through an accredited program)
Desired Skills
  • Ability to operate various types of machine tools to perform progressive machining.
  • Ability to read blueprints, plans, and designs.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Excellent mechanical skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail a must.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and bending required.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time
Job Responsibilities
  • Perform all aspects of CNC machine operation, including cutting and finishing parts.
  •  Ensure proper tooling is used with precision tools such as saws, mills, etc.
  •  Inspects machinery for any needed repairs; perform minor repairs within expertise.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of work area.
  • Maintain accurate records for quality control checks on equipment.
  • Comply with company and industry safety standards and regulations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
