Daily Tasks
- Provide care from Mon-Fri, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
- Our service areas include either Novi/Wixom OR areas near Ypsilanti - Residents of Novi and surrounding areas, or Ypsilanti and surrounding areas, are encouraged to apply
- Provide social interaction and reassurance to the patient and family
- Spend one-on-one time assisting hospice patients with daily living activities (Personal hygiene, bathroom needs and physical activity)
- Report changes in the patient's condition or environment to the attending nurse/RN
- Support patient teaching and other procedures based on patient plans of care supported by RNs, Therapists, Social Workers, and Chaplains
- Prepare and submit documentation of observations, findings, and services provided
- Administer emergency first aid when needed
- Perform additional, related duties as needed

Qualifications

- An active Michigan CNA license is required
- Required to possess a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle to travel to the patient's location
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to complete patient charting daily
