We are searching for a Talented ED Technician II
$1,200 New Hire Sign-On Bonus (Rehires Termed More than 1 year also eligible)
Hours: 32hrs
Shift: Evening 3pm-1130pm Every other weekend and holiday.
Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA

Responsibilities
Under general supervision of Emergency Department Manager or Designee, perform variety of duties in providing direct patient care including phlebotomy, EKG, minor invasive procedures and diagnostic procedures in accordance with physicians- orders. Conduct patient interviews and provide clerical support including but not limited to patient quick registration, data/order entry, minor transcription of orders, collation of medical records and other clerical duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Equal to completion of four years of high school plus specialized courses and training.
  • One year of related work experience is required.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • CNA/EMT/Medical Assistant required OR in lieu of certification, must be currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program with successful completion of Fundamentals of Nursing OR have a minimum of 1+ years ED tech experience.
  • Phlebotomy skills preferred.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Pay Range
USD $16.88 - USD $28.00 /Hr.
Rotation Schedule Requirement
Every Other Weekend and Holiday
