Clinical Manager Outpatient (LCSW or LPC required)

Responsibilities Clinical Manager duties include: Help the Director of Outpatient Services provide training and clinical supervision to unlicensed clinicians and/or students; assisting therapists in problem solving and decision making processes for imminent and/or challenging situations; assisting with program development and program evaluation and program improvement; assist the Director of Outpatient Services in the facilitation of therapist meetings, assigning caseloads, assiting in coverage of groups should a clinician call out sick or is out on pto, and completing weekly schedules.Clinical Manager will work with Lead Therapist in conducting daily visits to the acute units and provide education of services offered in the Outpatient Department to the patients. These tasks will be completed in addition to unit therapist responsibilities as described below. The therapist role is designed to provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients within the outpatient settings. Additionally, therapists have the primary responsibility for treatment planning and when necessary they will interface with community agencies and referral sources throughout the client's course of treatment. This is a leadership role that supports the Outpatient Department. Qualifications PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. * Frequently stands, walks, kneels, reaches while working with patients. * Requires full range of body motion including handling and physical restraint of patients. * Ability to perform CPR and first aid. Ability to drive a vehicle if necessary. * Ability to work rotating shifts, and be flexible in own hours. * Must be able to speak, read and write clearly, and organize multiple tasks at one time. * Ability to visually supervise patients & hear requests for assistance from patients/residents and staff. Able to problem solve situations under stressful situations. * Emotional stability necessary to perform the essential functions of the job. * Vision and hearing sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job. SKILLS: Requires strong organizational and communication skills, working knowledge of personal computer, ability to maintain confidentiality. Able to complete required paperwork according to established protocol and regulatory agency requirements. Must be able to maintain professional and appropriate boundaries with clients and families. Ability to act professionally in high stress situations. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: Full clinical licensure (i.e. LPC, LCSW) required. Master's degree in counseling or social work. Experience providing clinical and administrative supervision preferred. Experience working with military members preferred. STAFF DEVELOPMENT REQUIREMENTS: Must meet or exceed hospital and regulatory agency training requirements. EXPOSURE CATEGORY: I Performs tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
