Responsible for obtaining Radiographic Images of diagnostic quality while adhering to departmental standards and protocols. Maintains a high quality standard of Imaging excellence in all areas of the radiology department. Collaborates with other professionals in and out of the Hospital to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes.
**The Radiologic Technologist II, will be required to cover all surgical procedures in surgery and occasionally in the Special Procedures area. Primary job duties involve the daily use of C-Arm’s and O-Arms and associated equipment. An excellent working knowledge of this type of equipment is critical to this job role. Call rotation for after-hours coverage and holiday coverage is required.
Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or GED; Evidence of Radiologic Technology training from United States Military or must be a graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology with a full scope of practice.
  • One year experience preferred.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiological Technology (ARRT); Current BLS certification.
