Focus: In your role as an Electrical Design Engineer, you p erform a wide variety of design functions on projects requiring a broad knowledge of engineering fundamentals including budgeting, scheduling, planning, design, specifications, building codes, construction techniques, building material and costs. Salary: $93,600 - $130,000 Schedule: 9/80 Schedule Available Relocation Available Electrical Design Engineer Essential Job Functions: Develop and design electrical construction packages for Chlor-Alkali plant projects which may include replacements, improvements, etc Assist in developing and maintaining scope of work, cost estimates, schedule and staffing requirements Prepare and maintain drawing and specification list, work progress and evaluation data, and Management of Change requests Coordinate work execution with other disciplines to ensure all requirements are met Review design, layout specifications and engineering details for compliance with statutory code requirements Check and review shop drawings before release, and periodically visit construction site to review progress and assist in solving construction problems and drawing interpretation Coordinate with project/maintenance engineers, contractors, vendors, and technicians in developing the package for bid and/or execution Electrical Design Engineer Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree* in Electrical Engineering 1+ year of related manufacturing work experience Knowledge of NEC code Relevant experience with low and control voltage, medium voltage, high voltage, and power distribution systems Must meet the physical requirements including, but not limited to, climbing stairs and ladders CAD skills and other basic computer skills including Word and Excel; 3-D modeling and SAP knowledge preferred Grow your career where you are rewarded and valued.
