Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team and provide professional nursing care to patients in our Observation Unit. The ideal candidate will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, conduct nursing assessments, assist with exams and treatment, and educate patients while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and compassionate care.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelors of Nursing preferred
- Licenses/Certifications: Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing, Certified in Basic Life Support
- Experience: RN I, RN II, RN III, RN IV based on years of experience
Principal Accountabilities
- Delivers safe and appropriate care to patients according to the nursing skills inventory and patient needs, coordinates care planning with the interdisciplinary team, and ensures positive outcomes based on professional standards of care.
- Participates in program evaluation, process improvement, and adheres to all regulatory and Texas Board of Nursing standards.
- Promotes professional growth and development, supports department-based goals, and creates compassionate and personalized experiences for patients and colleagues.
