Exciting opportunity to join our established and expanding organization. Accredited by The Joint Commission, Hudson Behavioral Health is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization providing Behavioral Health Treatment in Salisbury, Maryland. Since its inception in 1980, Hudson Behavioral Health has been providing cutting edge treatment for Substance Use and other co-occurring disorders. Our services include Detoxification, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Partial Hospitalization, Treatment, and Transitional Housing.
This is a FT position, Monday - Friday and every other weekend from 3pm-11:30pm.
No experience needed. Training provided!
Must be able to...
1. Clean and prepare bedrooms for incoming residents.
2. Complete Policy Variance (incident) Reports for all unusual events or witnessed or reported incidents that could pose a risk to patients/residents or staff.
3. Clean and inspect bedrooms for safety after a resident is discharged.
4. Communicate house needs, inventory supply and maintenance issues.
5. Create and update resident binders.
6. Update bulletin boards.
7. Provide orientation upon admission as directed.
8. Monitor residents daily living activities by conducting room checks and walk through inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety.
9. Perform observed urine drug screen and breathalyzer analysis as needed.
10. Facilitate life-skills groups.
11. Provide transportation for weekly grocery store trips, meetings, appointments, and other recovery related events as needed.
12. Monitor medication self-administration with residents and document medication counts as directed.
13. Record keeping duties: Shift notes must be provided per shift worked. Monitor and log resident activity and/or contact with residents.
14. Clerical duties for day shift to include: filing, answering phones, returning phone calls, copying, collecting weekly resident paperwork, and faxing.

•have a valid driver's license, with no more than two violations.

•experience in the field of addiction highly preferred.
