Job DescriptionRegistered Nurse (RN) Opportunities in NY Responsibilities: Perform assessments on clients with illness, injury, or health-related/psychological concerns. Report any significant findings to the appropriate medical provider and guardian, when appropriate. Implement the prescribed intervention method. Transcribe all information accurately and efficiently and carry out orders for treatment as medically prescribed. Administer medication safely, accurately, and per NYS and agency guidelines. Monitor for signs of adverse reactions to medications and/or treatments. Effectively triage phone calls regarding health-related concerns of youth in care. Support other members of the nursing team to ensure quality care is delivered effectively and timely. Oversee and supervise care provided by the LPN and other health office staff. Provide assessments, monitor, and care for the youth in the event of a physical restraint. Administer first-aid during emergency situations and coordinate patient care until EMS arrives or the youth is transported to an emergency department. Requirements: Minimum of an Associate's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and NYS license as a Registered Nurse. Adolescent Psych and/or Pediatric Experience is preferred. Must have a valid New York State Driver's License and must meet agency driving and insurance standards. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive pay Up to $6.50 shift differential for nights and weekends. Up to $15k sign-on bonus for full-time RNs This is a leadership position that shapes the implementation of care standards and builds the team to meet the standard of care.
